Movie Posters

A renewed interest in illustration and a lifelong love of the movies has led me to try my hand at illustrating my own movie posters. Cult Cinema Sunday at Fruit ask the public to submit their own designs and so I’ve been giving it a go. Here’s my first attempt…

Ok, let’s go.

When I was a kid I used to draw all the time. Fuelled by my love of Marvel and DC comics, 2000ad, movies, TV, and animation I drew ALL THE TIME (obviously, when I wasn’t doing all these other things). Then I had to go and do stupid things like ‘growing up’ and ‘finding a job’. So with all that getting in the way I didn’t draw anything for several years. Then the birth of my son inspired me to try my hand at illustration again. Now here I am showing you my efforts…

This is the first real illustration I’ve done in years, and it’s the first illustration I’ve done using A Wacom tablet and Photoshop. Appropriately, it features my son…
